Sixth Graders need Tdap before next school year
Sixth graders need a Tdap shot to start 7th grade. The booster shot will help to protect your child against pertussis, commonly known as whooping cough. If your child has had the shot, please submit proof to the MJHS Student Services Office as soon as possible. A Tdap shot given at 7 years or older satisfies the state requirement.
If your child has not had a Tdap, make an appointment for the shot as soon as possible. Turning in proof of the shot before the end of this school will save parents time at registration in August, plus students who turn in Tdap proof by May 6 will earn Bull Pup Pride Points!!
For your convenience, you may fax your child's shot record to the MJHS Main Office at 335-5829 or send it by email to email@example.com.
All over-the-counter and prescription medications kept at school must be picked up by an authorized adult by the last day of school. Unclaimed student medications will be discarded. Parents must bring in new medication authorization forms each school year with their student’s medications. No medications will be accepted at your child’s school without the proper documentation. Student medication forms are available in the school office and on the school and district websites.
